What is MSME / Udyam Registration?

Udyam Registration is the official government registration for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises on the Udyam Portal. It provides a unique Udyam Registration Number (URN) and certificate, replacing the old Udyog Aadhaar.

MSME Classification (2020)

• Micro: Investment ≤ ₹1 Crore, Turnover ≤ ₹5 Crore
• Small: Investment ≤ ₹10 Crore, Turnover ≤ ₹50 Crore
• Medium: Investment ≤ ₹50 Crore, Turnover ≤ ₹250 Crore

• Aadhaar Card (mandatory)
• PAN Card (mandatory for companies/LLPs)
• GST number (if applicable)
• Bank account details
